It’s so nice to take a breath away from Kentucky for a few days and travel down to the mountains. Gatlinburg just so happens to be our favorite spot and it’s where Megan and her family were traveling to when she decided to find someone for her maternity session. After reaching out to Megan in a photography group on Facebook, she became my client and we scheduled the shoot!

I came down to G-burg the night before because, why not, it’s nice to have a little break away. I checked the weather for the next day and low and behold, it was 90% chance of thunderstorms all day!!! We figured out that it would be best to reschedule our time to the morning so we woke up, headed to Cades Cove and the session, we did! Charlie and Xander are Megan’s first born babies. They both are so full of personality and love to explore the flowers and chase down butterflies. Xander clung to his momma the entire time, my heart was so full for the capacity that he loves her. Megan and Chase (Megan’s husband) are so happy together. It’s obvious to see that they balance each other out so well. We also had the grandparents join us for a few, so it was so special to see how they all interacted out of love and played together.

Megan and Chase, congratulations on your soon to be new arrival. I know you are AWESOME parents. Xander and Charlie are so adorable and so so smart. We had so much fun and hope you had fun visiting the Great Smokey Mountains!
