Ah, what an honor it is to be writing about this sweet, sweet lady… Amy with Amy’s on Park Avenue. Amy specializes in full body waxing (literally HEAD to TOE), eyebrow/eyelash tinting, microdermabrasion’s, face/back facials and chemical peels. Amy’s Place on Park Avenue has been there for almost 2 years now but Amy has over 14 years of experience in the field. On our visit with Amy, we each were treated with Microdermabrasion’s and facials. I, (Taylor) have personally never even researched the benefits of a Microdermabrasion, or even knew what it was so I was super stoked to learn the positive effects it has on our skin and now I am pretty sure I will never be able to live without it. Our experience was amazing so of course we want to tell you all about our favorite parts!

To start, the bed you lie on while Amy works her magic is made with freshly washed sheets and is HEATED! An essence of Lavender, coming from the all-organic products that Amy uses, lingers in the air. A heated bed and good smells, mixed with Amy’s personality make you more comfortable than you are in your own home. She’s very down to earth and so sweet. She takes time to ask you questions about your skin and uses that information to give you the best solutions on how to help your skin and maintain after the Microderm. We were a little nervous about the things we had heard about microderm’s.. mainly that it hurts but actually, it didn’t hurt at all. In fact, it was crazy relieving to let our skin breathe. Each Microderm also comes with a facial so you’re able to relax before and after the treatment. I wish we could show you in photos how our skin felt afterwards…. smoother than a baby’s bottom :) I cannot wait for my next appointment, not only did my skin feel dramatically healthier, but my confidence was boosted as well!
