Kentucky Senior Photographer / Back to School Senior Ambassadors Photoshoot at Pisgah Schoolhouse
This was an incredible start to our year together. Each girl BROUGHT it, and did it so well! Everyone picked their own outfits and they shared them as they found them to make sure we coordinated. I really was feeling something retro with our first group shoot, and Pisgah Schoolhouse is the most preserved place locally. Which worked out perfect, because it was the weekend before most of them went back to school. One last shebang, to bring in the new year! I am so excited to see where this year takes us. I have lots of dreams for these girls and I know it’s going to be the best year yet!
Introducting, my class of 2022 SENIOR AMBASSADORS!
Kentucky Senior Photographer / Senior Session at Shaker Village / Class of 2021- Haylee L.
Here I am again, telling you how long it’s been since I last blogged and I am SO sorry about that. Life has been insanely busy, I am so grateful for it, but it’s really took a toll on my blogging. I used to blog once a day, I need to make time for that again! Today, we are here to talk about Haylee. Haylee is a class of 2021 senior and just so happens to be my long lost little cousin….. haha! Just kidding, but they live a bit away so it really has been FOREVER since I got to see her and her momma. We must have rescheduled this session 3 times because of the weather but boy, this day surely was worth the wait. It was GORGEOUS and we got the perfect golden hour. Haylee is not about dressing up, but she did for her senior photos and I AM HERE FOR IT! Of course we had to do an outfit that was more her - jeans and a tie dye tee. I think it’s really important to incorporate yourself in your senior photos. This is how you will remember this super special period of your life so you should be you. Seniors, I have a few winter dates (get on my SNOW LIST!) and Spring dates available so if you want to book, don’t wait! Ok, without further a due, I give you the insanely gorgeous, (whom also looks just like her mom), Haylee.
Kentucky Senior Photographer / Senior session at the creek / Zoe G.
Zoe is so cool! I want to be Zoe when I grow up. We went to this little creek area close to my house for Zoe’s senior session. It’s a dream. The spot I was DYING to go to was unfortunately overgrown but we made the best of it and picked all the spots with good light. Zoe is such a model, she was so easy to photograph! Zoe is also one of my senior ambassadors so I am looking forward to hanging out with her more during this year!
Kentucky Senior Photographer / Fourth of July Senior Session at Conley Bottom / Studio 606 VIP Experience
THESE GIRLS, you guys. ARE AMAZING! I am so lucky to have them ALL on my senior team and am so lucky that they hopped on board with my last minute idea of a 4th of July themed shoot. So, these are my current VIP Seniors, and Senior Ambassadors. If you’re interested in becoming one, I can give you more info if you fill out the form here. The deadline to become a VIP senior is July 15th (only a few days away!!!!)
My point with creating the VIP senior experience is so that my seniors can be involved. I know they are so busy with school, extra circulars, jobs…. so I definitely didn’t want this to be a thing that they had to dread or even worry about. I wanted to create a little support family to which they can come to at any point of the year if they need help, need to have fun or just need to escape the stress of senior year. We have 2 additional senior group shoots planned, one is coming up soon and WHOOP WHOOP, my expectations are so high after this shoot! We are a family, and a lot of them are from different schools, have never met and I think they bonded SO well this first shoot and I AM SO STOKED to see where this year takes us all. I love that they are making new friends in this process, because that’s what it’s all about! :)
So, a special thanks to Kaitlyn’s (WCHS Senior Ambassador) aunt for letting us use her beautiful houseboat and boat. It was very nice protection from the monsoon that intruded our sunny day but at about the last 5 minutes of the rain, we all decided we wanted to be brave and shoot in it! I am so happy we did, because they danced in the rain. They loved it. I loved that they were having so much fun despite our unfortunate weather. The sun came back out and we ended with golden hour on a powerful note :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH GALS FOR BEING AMAZING AND ROCKING EVERYTHING YOU DO!!!!
Mckenzie, we missed you but I can’t wait to have you for the next one!!!!!! :)
Ready to join our VIP team? Fill out the form here and I will send you some info :)
Kentucky Senior Photographer / Studio 606 Senior Experience / Wayne County High School Senior Photographer / Abby D.
I can already tell that this year, my senior season is going to be one for the books! Let’s be real, they always are but this year I’ve added ambassadors and a VIP program to the mix. I’ve always wanted to be involved with my seniors senior year, I just never could figure out how to do so and how to encourage them to allow me to be. SO, our VIP team will enjoy group shoots, parties and just hanging out with each other! I am so excited to see where this year takes us!
We started this year out STRONG with my first senior ambassador from WCHS, Abby D. We explored a familiar area to her heart in her hometown, along with her momma and dog Moses. Abby brought out her guitar and she spun in the field of orange flowers. We even went on a walk to find NOT what we were looking for. It’s ok though because we did find another GORGEOUS spot and Abby was brave enough to climb the waterfall. We still have another location to go and we’re doing it this coming week! I AM SO EXCITED FOR IT GUYS, MY EXPECTATIONS are so HiGH and I can’t wait to show you!
Abby is a GORGEOUS, genuine kind hearted gal who loves dogs, dance and music. She’s so sweet and has the most adorable smile! She laughs at everything and is totally fearless in everything she does. She hiked up that waterfall like it wasn’t a problem! ME on the other hand, I was struggling to stay upright…… HAHAHA! I am so excited to see what this Friday will bring Abby! CAN’T WAIT!
